Phoenix Metro Employment Growth up 3.1%

In the newly released 2Q 2018 report, robust employment growth in the Phoenix Metro Area at a rate of 3.1% y-o-y.  ABI Multifamily says:

Phoenix area hiring outpaced Bay Area hiring by 56% in June according to the Chamber Business News (CBN). CBN goes on to state, "Valley advanced business services, financial services and technology companies increased workforce by 15,000 jobs over June 2017. The average individual wage, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) May 2018 data, topped $60,000 in these sectors."
