Phoenix Metro Rent up 6%

In the newly released 1Q 2018 report, rent in the Phoenix Metro Area increased 6% from last year.  ABI Multifamily says:

Based on Census estimates, renter household levels have increased nearly 8% since 2000. Locally, the Phoenix Metro, has witnessed a stunning 21% increase in renter households, impacting nearly 15% of the entire population or 660,000 people, from 2000 through 2016.
